Tested with ipad1 & iPhone 3GS, it works! Simple but effective...
Excellent, keep in mind that it doesnt really show video, but it takes a picture every 10 seconds, the audio is perfect!
Sound works perfectly. Photo snapshot occurs only at the beginning, ones.
We do however have two different iOS installed...
we are using the app with the ipad and iphone for 6 month now. its working great. even a connection via internet works well! but we are using it via wlan mostly.
Using either a iphone or an ipod touch for the baby monitor and a ipad for the parent unit. Can even multitask on the ipad and still hear the audio.
This app works pretty well for us, using either two iPhones or an iPhone and iPad. The video doesnt actually stream (it seems to be a series of stills taken every 10 seconds or so), but the audio is great. It does sometimes cut out or have trouble connecting initially, but if you are paying attention, you hear it cut out and can reset the connection. I would buy the full version if these problems were fixed, but in the meantime, for a free app, it is pretty handy.
Some bad moments
Sadly you lose The Connection all The Time even with Perfect wifi and channel 2.
Before The iOS Update everything was ok
Couldnt get volume to work at all, so this app got deleted and bought a good app that works great
Sound is too low, have to keep ear to speaker to hear our son and also app would disconnect from sending iPhone. Id pick up phone to listen, hear nothing and then notice app had disconnected the monitor. Our boy could have been screaming and wed never have known. Uninstalling.
Crashes, loses connection and gives no indication that anything is wrong. On top of that, the nag wall for upgrading is annoying. Not recommended.
It was connecting to Baby unit forever but never did.. Just a battery killer.
Doesnt work very well at all. Should have some way to sync to certain devices rather than simple checking wifi for another phone with Isitter, has to be worst idea ever. Can see why its free, its useless! Dont usually write reviews but this is a waste of space on the app store . If i could id give no stars
