The struggle with this app is just getting it to connect to the other unit. The "monitor" will start to connect but before you can get a picture it will reset the connection. This can go on for minutes or the whole time youre trying to use the app. And then when it disconnects it makes this terrible high pitched dinging noise that you cant turn off or turn down so hopefully you arent trying to use it in a small house or apartment. Once it connects it sends a picture of the baby every 10 seconds but the sound is live. So, if you can actually get it to connect it works fine. I wouldnt recommend this app.

Downloaded this app on our ipad and iPhones when down the beach for New Years! Had forgotten our monitor at home and this was a savior for monitoring our kid... My wife or I could log into it and keep and eye or ear on our baby no problem! Thanks for making a great app!

simple UI if a bit dated, free is nice, but app will crash to springboard on certain instances and will drop connection if you switch to another app almost guaranteed. would pay for in app purchase if it also gave you better reliability. that said, some people are cheap. so this is for you. for people that need a reliable app that they dont have to worry about crashes, freezes, and disconnects, try another app. Ive heard great things about Cloud baby monitor. 7/8/15 edit: still disconnects when the app is backgrounded, even in the next room. very unreliable.

Very helpful and easy to use but sometimes has trouble connecting and I have to restart the phone and turn wifi on and off again.

We forgot our monitor when we went to visit the family, and found this app and it works perfect for what we needed. We set up an iPad as the monitor and I can carry my iPhone around with great audio as the receiver! We havent experienced the connection issues that others listed, but we have strong wifi in the house. Its a great monitor when you dont have the real thing!

Im using this app while on vacation, and it consistently loses the connection at some point every night, despite a strong wifi signal. I had to pay for the app to turn off the "lost connection alarm," and now I wish I could get my money back. Very disappointed.

This was perfect for what I needed. Very clear sound i was able to hear the slightest coo. I did not have any problems connecting or losing connection.

We use this as our monitor for the kids whenever we travel. Its great for being able to leave the kids on another floor of the house or the next hotel room down and keep ears on them. (This is not as reliable for keeping eyes on them.) We dont have any connection problems, except for occasionally resetting, and we have used it under a variety of conditions. Most impressive is the bluetooth connection when theres no cell signal and no wifi. This reduces the range, but it does better than the 30 feet I was expecting. We are able to leave our kids sleeping on the lower level of a cabin and play cards in an upstairs room that is almost directly above them.

I used this app multiple times a day and it was amazing and worth paying for! Now Im lost because it wont even listen now... The new look was nice but one phone will say its listening and I cannot get the monitor to work or even connect! I even approved the device & signed in.

Highly recommend this app, it is really worth all the penny.

I loved this app until I updated to iOS 9 Now my iPhone & iPad rarely connect If they do the connection is lost within 1 minute & never reestablishes itself!! Very frustrating

Since updating to IOS 9 app has been disconnecting constantly. Is a great app and would consider purchasing the full price if they could sort the disconnection issues out!

This app USED to be my go-to to watch my son. After the update on 9/15, the app is HORRIBLE. The video quality is so low now that instead of seeing any sort of image of my son, I see a huge blur (my son sleeps in a swing so any type of movement makes the image blurry on the new version). The video is COMPLETELY pointless. The new version is also glitchy and often wont connect my devices until the 5th or 6th try. Unfortunately I had to resort to using another app to monitor my son because of how terrible this new version is!

Ive been using this app for almost a year and everything was fine, but since the update it disconnects and the light from my iPad wakes up my kid. Please fix

I have to carry my iPads for work and now I can use them as a baby monitor when needed. The internet option is great in a hotel room so I can leave the room and not disturb my sons sleep.

We used to love this app, but it seems like recent updates have broken it for us. We havent changed anything about our wifi, but the connection quality has plummeted. We used to be able to use an old iPhone 3G as the babys, now neither that nor our 5s and 6 will maintain a connection for more than 30 seconds at our house or the grandparents houses. I wish I could help fix this, the app is perfect when it works!
